Microsoft has criticised Google over its product development strategy.
In a blog post, a spokesperson for the Windows platform holder criticised the search engine giant's "see if it sticks" approach and questioned its reliability in the business sector.
"Google releases experimental products and tracks adoption to determine whether to continue providing them. Its products are like spaghetti, Google throws them up against the wall to see if they stick," wrote Tom Rizzo, director of Microsoft SharePoint products and technologies.
Rizzo singled out Google Wave, Google Aardvark and Google Buzz for criticism, claiming that their development was "haphazard" and "noncommittal", yielding unsatisfactory products.
"It is clear that Google's product management practice is haphazard and noncommittal, resulting in its deliveries often falling short of expectations," he added.
Google's next venture is expected to be online music service Music by Google, scheduled to launch before the end of the year.
